My paintings explore the natural cycles of life and death, damage and repair, and love and loss. We used to vacation on Birch Bay in WA state and this series is a memory of that beach.

I cut, tear, and glue photographs, maps, drawings and found images on canvas, wood (and sometimes household goods!), surrounding and layering them with acrylic paint and translucent glaze.

I'm a sucker for a theme so I'll often produce a whole set of something that captures my attention!

We respectfully acknowledge that we are situated on unceded Treaty 6 territory; the traditional lands of First Nations and Métis people.
