My paintings explore the natural cycles of life and death, damage and repair, and love and loss. And bunnies, of course!
I cut, tear, and glue photographs, maps, drawings and found images on canvas, wood (and sometimes household goods!), surrounding and layering them with acrylic paint and translucent glaze.
I'm a sucker for a theme so I'll often produce a whole set of something that captures my attention!
I use Posca markers to add detail after several layers of acrylic paint.
It's a process and I really enjoy it.
The tray is completed with a polyurethane spray to ensure that they're wipeable.
